Pêches ::: Peach Kebabs

Ingredient
  • 6 peaches, stones removed and sliced in half
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) unsalted butter
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) honey
  • 2.5 ml (½ tbsp) ground cinnamon
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Grand Marnier
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) sesame seeds
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) fresh basil, minced
Directions
  1. Preheat barbecue to medium. Spear peach halves on skewers with 3 half peaches per kebab. Melt butter over medium heat, add honey, cinnamon, Grand Marnier and mix well.
  2. Brush skewers with the preparation obtained in step 3 and grill for 2 minutes per side.
  3. Arrange skewers in serving plates and sprinkle with sesame seeds and minced basil. Serve with iced cream.

Chef's Tip: It's best to soak bamboo skewers in water for 20 minutes prior to using to keep them from burning when grilling
