Côtelettes de porc à l'oignon et à la tomate

Ingredients
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
  • 4 pork loin chops,
  • 3/4in/2 cm thick (about 1 1/2 lb/750 g)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • 1 pkg (82 g) Knorr® Tomato Basil Soup Mix
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) brown sugar
  • 4 tsp (20 mL) Worcestershire sauce


Preparation
  1. In large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add chops and onion; brown 5 minutes. Remove chops; set aside. Add water, soup mix, brown sugar and Worcestershire; whisking constantly, bring to boil.
  2. Return chops to skillet. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes or until tender and just a hint of pink remains inside. Serve chops and sauce with mashed potatoes, rice or pasta.
