ingredients
  • 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup divided (125 mL) HERSHEY'S Cocoa
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 can (300 mL) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) all purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon (5 mL) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 mL) baking powder
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) chopped nuts
  • 2 cups (500 mL) CHIPITS Semi Sweet Baking Chips


Preparation
  1. Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Stir together graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup cocoa and sugar in medium bowl; stir in butter, blending well. Press mixture firmly on bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking pan.
  3. Beat sweetened condensed milk, flour, egg, vanilla, baking powder and remaining cocoa in small bowl. Stir in nuts. Spread evenly over prepared crust. Sprinkle CHIPITS Semi Sweet chips over top.
  4. Bake 25 minutes or until set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
