Canapés au prosciutto

ingredient
  • 1 baguette, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) softened butter
  • 1/4 lb (125 g) Canadian Borgonzola cheese, cut in small cubes
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Brandy
  • Pinch of paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 lb (125 g) thinly sliced prosciutto, finely chopped
  • Grated Canadian Parmesan cheese


Preparation
  1. Spread bread slices lightly with butter and grill in oven for a few minutes. Set aside.
  2. In bowl, mix Canadian Borgonzola cheese with Brandy. Add paprika and season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix well. Spread cheese mixture on grilled bread and return to oven for a few minutes until cheese begins to melt.
  3. Arrange on serving dish, garnish each slice with prosciutto and top with Canadian Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately
