  • 4 oz (120 g) Canadian Cream Cheese
  • 4 oz (120 g) Medium Canadian Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter
  • 3 egg whites, beaten stiff but not dry
  • 1 large baguette bread, crust removed
  • Pepper

Preparation
  1. In heavy saucepan, melt Canadian Cream Cheese, Canadian Cheddar cheese and butter over low heat while stirring. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Gently fold in egg whites and mix. Set aside. Cut crustless bread in cubes and soak thoroughly in cheese mixture, using a knife to soak well.
  2. Place cubes in baking pan and season with pepper. Sprinkle with Canadian Parmesan cheese. Refrigerate overnight. 10 to 15 minutes before serving, toast cubes in oven at 400 °F (200 °C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden
