- 4 oz (120 g) Canadian Cream Cheese
- 4 oz (120 g) Medium Canadian Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter
- 3 egg whites, beaten stiff but not dry
- 1 large baguette bread, crust removed
- Pepper
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Canadian Parmesan cheese
Preparation- In heavy saucepan, melt Canadian Cream Cheese, Canadian Cheddar cheese and butter over low heat while stirring. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes. Gently fold in egg whites and mix. Set aside. Cut crustless bread in cubes and soak thoroughly in cheese mixture, using a knife to soak well.
- Place cubes in baking pan and season with pepper. Sprinkle with Canadian Parmesan cheese. Refrigerate overnight. 10 to 15 minutes before serving, toast cubes in oven at 400 °F (200 °C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden
