Brownies Turtles

Ingredient: brownies
  • 1 pkg (510 to 515 g) chocolate cake mix
  • 3⁄4 cup butter, melted 175 ml
  • 1⁄3 cup Regular Evaporated Milk 75 ml
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans 250 ml
Topping
  • 1-1⁄2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 375 ml
  • 1⁄4 cup Regular Evaporated Milk 50 ml
  • 24 NESTLÉ TURTLES chocolates 24

  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C). Stir together cake mix, butter and evaporated milk in bowl until smooth; stir in pecans. Press 2 cups (500 ml) of mixture into 13 x 9-inch (3.5 L) parchment paper-lined baking pan. Bake 8 minutes; let cool 10 minutes on wire rack.
Topping
  1. Combine chocolate chips with evaporated milk in microwaveable bowl; microwave on HIGH about 1 minute or until chips are almost melted. Stir until melted and smooth. Gently spread over cake.
  2. Arrange TURTLES over chocolate mixture. Using your fingers, arrange crumbled remaining brownie dough around TURTLES. Bake 15 minutes or until cake tester inserted in brownie comes out with a few moist crumbs clinging to it. Let cool completely on wire rack. Refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until firm. Lift out of pan onto cutting board and cut into squares with each brownie containing one TURTLE.
