Biscuits à la citrouille et son glaçage

Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter or marg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Frosting
  • 4 Tbsp milk
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla


Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together butter and sugar. Add pumpkin, egg and vanilla and beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add dry ingredients all at once.
  2. Stir gently to form a smooth batter. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove and cool. Spread with frosting if desired
Frosting
  1. Combine in a pan the butter, milk and brown sugar. Heat to boiling and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool. Stir in confectioners sugar and vanilla. Spread on cooled cookies.
