Tortellini alfredo à la florentine

Ingredients
  • 250 g fresh or frozen cheese tortellini 1/2 lb
  • 375 mL milk 1 1/2 cups
  • 15 mL margarine or butter 1 tbsp
  • 1 mL ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp
  • 1 pkg Knorr Alfredo Pasta Sauce Mix 1 pkg
  • 625 mL coarsely chopped spinach 2 1/2 cups
  • 175 mL thin strips ham 3/4 cup


Preparation
  1. Cook the tortellini according to package directions; drain and set aside. In a medium saucepan set over medium-high heat, whisk together the milk, margarine, nutmeg and pasta sauce mix. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the spinach and ham. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the tortellini and allow it to heat through.
