Cubes de boeuf ::: Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp Imperial Margarine 30 mL
  • 1 lb beef stir fry strips 500 g
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms 500 mL
  • 1 pouch Lipton Onion Recipe Soup Mix 1 pouch
  • 2 cups water 500 mL
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 30 mL
  • 1/2 cup sour cream 125 mL
Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, melt margarine over medium-high heat and brown steak with mushrooms. Remove from skillet, keep warm.
  2. Blend Lipton Onion Recipe Soup Mix with water and flour in skillet, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened. Return beef and mushrooms to skillet, add sour cream and heat through. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
