Beurre d'arachides et Arachides ::: Crispy Chocolate Peanut Bars

ingredients
  • 1/2 cup (125mL) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup (75mL) corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup (50mL) honey
  • 1/3 cup (75mL) HERSHEY'S Cocoa
  • 1/4 cup (50mL) packed brown sugar
  • 3 cups (750mL) miniature marshmallows
  • 3 1/2 cups (875mL) crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup (250mL) peanuts
  • 1 (350g) pkg CHIPITS® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Preparation
  1. COMBINE: first 5 ingredients in large saucepan. Heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Reduce heat to low.
  2. Add marshmallows and heat, stirring until smoothly melted. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal and peanuts. Press firmly into greased 9
  3. MELT: Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips on low heat or in microwave, stirring until smooth. Spread evenly over bars. Cool for 30 minutes until chocolate is set. Cut into bars.
